Welcome to Brimstone Condominiums at Durango's Purgatoy Resort, one of the best all-season resorts in Colorado! Brimstone is a ski-in/ski-out complex located directly at the ski resort with the ski slopes as our backyard (Lower Hades). Enjoy the year-round activities the area has to offer and come back and relax in one of our cozy condos by sitting by the fireplace or enjoying a soak in our new hot tub with breathtaking views of the mountains. We offer 11 different units available for rent with 2-, or 4-bedrooms, most with 3 full bathrooms.

We are located 26 miles north of Durango, and 20 miles south of Silverton -- in the heart of Southwest Colorado!

Located 300 yards uphill from the main lift, you can ascend our staircase, ski/ride a green run downhill (Yellow Brick Road, ie. YBR) to catch the high speed 6-passenger lift to the top of Puragory. When finished schussing, you can return to Brimstone on the YBR run.

For the non-skier, you can enjoy the excitement with snowmobile tours, snowshoeing, sledding, the mountain coaster, dog sledding, riding the snow coaster (tubing), and the magnificent stargazing sleigh ride night tours. Or with a short drive into Durango (29 miles) you can take pleasure in great shopping, fine dining, art galleries, and the Durango/Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad.

Spring, Summer, and Fall: this is the time to experience Colorado's cascading waterfalls, wildflowers, wildlife, and spectacular views of the San Juan Mountains and Weminuche wilderness, whether that be on foot or bike.

We are situated at Purgatory Resort which offers world class mountain biking, the alpine slide, mountain roller coaster, zip line, and other family-friendly activities. If golf is your pleasure, you can play a round at three of the championship courses in the area. Or if fishing is what you prefer, there are a number of different creeks, rivers, and lakes to choose from. Other activities include, Mesa Verde Indian Ruins, river rafting and Durango/Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad.
